Deathcare Ebook Marketing: Where Do You Get Content for Your Ebook?

Deathcare Ebook Marketing

The average word count for an adult general fiction novel is 70,000 to 120,000. An ebook used for deathcare marketing doesn’t need to be anywhere near that long. In fact, it shouldn’t be. Consumer attention spans simply aren’t that long, and most people don’t have the desire or time to delve into 100,000 words about preplanning.

Instead, marketing ebooks can be as short as around 2,000 words and as long as around 10,000 words, with most falling on the shorter end of this range.

Start by picking a topic that’s relevant to your potential clientele. For example, you might offer an ebook that walks clients through preparing to preplan. Chapter topics could include what preplanning is, the benefits of preplanning, and what you need before you can start the preplanning journey. This way, readers can get ready to start the preplanning process, but you don’t give away so much information that they don’t have to call you for assistance.

To fill your ebook, you can often rely on content already created for your business. Look at previous blog posts and articles you’ve used for deathcare content marketing and repurpose them as chapters in your ebook. Make sure to update them with current trends, statistics, and facts whenever possible, and write transitions, introductions, and conclusions to create a cohesive narrative.

If possible, add some new content to make your ebook a true value for readers. Either write one or two unique chapters with information that can only be found in the ebook or expand the information you provide on specific topics. People are more likely to sign up to receive your ebook when they know they can’t get the information elsewhere on your site.
